WALKING IN VISION INVITES OPPOSITION!

Updated: Jul 25, 2022

"And their unbelief kept him from doing many mighty miracles in Nazareth." (Matthew 13:58 TPT)

What is my unbelief stopping God from doing in my life?

Is the unbelief of others keeping me from walking in purpose?

I really must think about any areas in my life where I need to operate in stronger faith. Lord, strengthen my faith as I feed on Your Word. I know that faith comes by hearing Your Word. So, if I need more faith, I need to apply more Word to my life.

As for my second question, "Is the unbelief of others keeping me from walking in purpose," I don't believe others have the power to stop what You're doing in my life and through my life.

I know that You can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted." (Job 42:2 AMPC)

People can't stop what God is doing. They don't have that kind of power. They can choose not to receive it but they can't stop it. The story of Noah and the ark makes that clear. (See Genesis chapters 6-9 for context)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I will not be moved by what I see or by what others are saying and doing. I will keep my eyes focused on You, Abba Father. I will not be moved or distracted.

"So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT)

Right focus is key. The things going on in the world are temporary, brief, fleeting, and ultimately a distraction. Whereas the things of God are eternal. Why focus on, or be bothered by, the temporary? Eternal things await!

"You need to get used to the idea that people may gossip about you and even treat you with malice because of your vision. It’s all part of the process. It is often proof that you’re really doing something worthwhile with your life." (Dr. Myles Munroe)

People laughed at, and mocked, Noah while he was building the ark in preparation for a flood, something that was unknown. They didn't take him seriously but he continued building the ark. He didn't let people stop his God assignment and I can't either.

"People who change the world have declared independence from other people's false expectations." (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Abba Father, since I want to be a world changer, I can't let what people say or do impact what You have created me to do. I can't let their voices become louder than Yours. You left the 99 for the one. The one will always be important to You. My assignment may only be to the one but for that one their world will be forever changed by You, through me. I am going to trust You and complete my assignment

Be Encouraged! ❤
