“Let this be recorded for the generation yet unborn, that a people yet to be created shall praise the Lord.” (Psalm 102:18 AMPC)
Abba, what a great reminder about the importance of legacy. I pray that something I say or do makes a difference for a generation I will never meet.
“If people can’t receive life from the legacy, you leave when you die, then you really didn’t live effectively. People should be able to flourish on the fruit of the vision you leave behind on earth. You should live so effectively that your life will be in the hearts and memories of those who could never forget you or what you did.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)
A legacy of life that is filled with my love for You, Abba Father is a heart’s desire. I pray others see it, feel it, and are impacted by how I lived my life for You. Let me live effectively by making every moment count.
"But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green." (Psalms 92:12-14 NLT)
I want to live out Psalm 92:12-14, flourishing and growing stronger in You Lord and what’s important to You. I have been transplanted to Your courts and flourish there as I learn even more about You, especially when it comes to praise and worship. Even in my old age I will still produce fruit because I remain vital and green because of my connection to You, Abba Father.
Thank You Lord that:
IT’S. NOT. TOO. LATE!
“If you live properly, history will not be able to ignore that you lived. Vision gives us assignments that will impact the earth. We must be able to say we have changed the world in some way while we were here and that we have left a mark for those who will come after us.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)
Dr. Myles Munroe is an example of this. Even though he has gone on to be with the Lord he is still impacting lives! He left us a legacy, a treasure trove of resources for us to grow in Kingdom Principles and a reminder for us to pursue and live out the vision that God has given us that will fulfill the purpose for which we were born. Not only is he encouraging us, he left us tangible tools to make it happen. I am so thankful for the life of Dr. Myles Munroe.
Be Encouraged! ❤
