THE ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER With Pastor Leisa:

I wrote this four years ago:

"I am taking the time to slow down, do nothing except press into God even more, enjoy quiet moments, be still, and just rest. I want to hear God clearly for/in this season of my life."

Four years later, I'm doing the same thing because I continue to hunger and thirst for more of God. I continue to desire deeper intimacy.

"A white-tailed deer drinks from the creek; I want to drink God, deep drafts of God. I’m thirsty for God-alive. I wonder, “Will I ever make it—arrive and drink in God’s presence?” (Psalm 42:1-2 MSG)

I've rearranged my day to include more of God. I've answered His call to, "Live in the Word." Something He spoke in my heart in 2023 but has taken to a deeper level in 2024.

Then my pastor, Jerry Elvis said God's word for this house, for those connected to Fusion Church Spring is:

GROW!

G - Goals, God inspired visions and dreams (Habakkuk 2:2-3 AMPC)

R – Relationships (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 AMPC)

O – Obedience (1 Samuel 15:22-23 AMPC)

W – Worship, Work, Wealth (John 4:23-24 AMPC, Genesis 1:28 AMPC, Deuteronomy 8:18 AMPC)

So that's what I'm doing with intentionality and purpose. Growth in Jesus won't happen by accident!

I have prepared a place for God to dwell richly and intimately in my heart in my life.

‭‭"But whatever things were gain to me, these things I have counted as loss because of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; if somehow I may attain to the resurrection from the dead." (Philippians 3:7-11(NASB20202)
