THE ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER With Pastor Leisa:

"PLANT...TRANSPLANT!"

I shared some of this on my personal page a few years ago. It came up in my Spirit again so I'm revisiting this and digging deeper for more insight and wisdom. Sometimes God gives us a glimpse of things and then builds on them. For me, this is one of those times. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

In my quiet the Lord dropped two words in my Spirit:

  • Plant

  • Transplant

Me being me, I had to find out the meanings of these words to make sure I fully understood them and what God was showing me.

Plant - To set; to fix; To set and direct or point; To introduce and establish; To unite to Christ and fix in a state of fellowship with him (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Transplant - To remove and settle or establish for residence in another place (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Then I looked for Scripture to get a deeper revelation and understanding. In my search I found these gems:

"Though it was planted in good soil where water was plentiful for it to produce leaves and to bear fruit, it was transplanted, that it might become a splendid vine." (Ezekiel 17:8 AMPC)

"For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God." (Psalm 92:13 NLT)

God wants to transplant us from the kingdom of darkness, sin, destruction, and eternal separation from Him and plant us in His Kingdom of light, love, peace, and spending eternity with Him. He wants to remove us from sins influence and establish, plant, and forever unite us in Him through Jesus Christ!

When we choose to be transplanted from sin and planted in Him through the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ, God will settle us, fix us, and direct or point us to our purpose, our reason for being here. God wants to introduce us, not only to His Son, but to our destiny in Him, and whoever we need to connect with to make it happen. God wants to establish us so He can cause us to flourish.

Okay, returning to spend some more time with the Lord to gain greater insight and application.

Be Encouraged! ❤
