I WSH YOU A HAPPY, BLESSED, WORD FILLED NEW YEAR!
This is a powerful Scripture to meditate on as you contemplate deepening your relationship with the Lord in 2024:
"Barricade the road that goes Nowhere; grace me with your clear revelation. I choose the true road to Somewhere, I post your road signs at every curve and corner. I grasp and cling to whatever you tell me; God, don’t let me down! I’ll run the course you lay out for me if you’ll just show me how." (Psalm 119:29-32 MSG)
FAITH CONFESSION:
Yes Lord, barricade the wrong roads so I don't take them. Give me Your clear revelations so I make choices that honor You and bring glory to Your Name.
I choose Your roads for my life. They lead somewhere. I post Your Word everywhere keeping it before my eyes, on my mind, in my heart, and coming out of my life.
I am clinging to You and will be obedient to You. I know You won't let me down.
"God, teach me lessons for living so I can stay the course. Give me insight so I can do what you tell me— my whole life one long, obedient response. Guide me down the road of your commandments; I love traveling this freeway! Give me an appetite for your words of wisdom, and not for piling up loot. Divert my eyes from toys and trinkets, invigorate me on the pilgrim way. Affirm your promises to me— promises made to all who fear you. Deflect the harsh words of my critics— but what you say is always so good. See how hungry I am for your counsel; preserve my life through your righteous ways!" (Psalm 119:33-40 MSG)
FAITH CONFESSION:
Lord, teach me Your lessons for life so I can stay on Your course for my life. Give me insight so I can do what You tell me. Let my life be one long obedient response.
Guide me down the road of Your commandments; I love traveling Your freeway! Give me an appetite for Your Word and Your ways of wisdom. I surrender my ways and reasonings to You. Lord, I want more of You and less of what the world offers. I will not be enticed by the world's dainties.
Lord, I am hungry for You, for Your counsel, and for Your Word. Abba, Father, preserve my life through Your righteous ways.
