If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or just need to refocus your mind on what God's Word says about you, let me share how I'm filtering my thoughts that don't align with His Word.
I'm doing breath prayers. I breathe in a line of Scripture and breathe out another line, repeating until the verse is complete. I also breathe in and out things like:
Breathe in: Lord, I know You love me.
Breathe out: I am loved by God.
Breathe in: Lord, You said You'd never leave me.
Breathe out: I am not alone.
I consciously focus on God, His Word, and sifting my feelings through His Word while breathing. I feel connected to God and His Word in the moment and not whatever emotion is trying to hijack my mind.
