Monday, I wrote about quitting and questioning my ministry. I highly recommend that anyone thinking about quitting or questioning their assignment read it. God placed a lot of nuggets, His Word, and insight, His wisdom, in this post. It might be an answer to prayer or confirmation. God has me share these transparency moments for a reason! And yes, sometimes I wish He wouldn't!
For me, writing it and then looking up what the Word says anchors me. The Lord said to me years ago, "Leisa, I can't cover what you won't uncover." I share my struggles to encourage myself and others. The enemy wants us to feel like we're in this alone, and you're the only one going through something! That's a lie, and I intend to expose his lies every chance I get.
In the meantime, I encourage myself in the Lord my God and stand on:
"For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]" (Hebrews 13:5 AMPC)
