Someone asked me, "How do you pray for someone when you don't know what's going on?" Many times, the Lord has awakened me with someone on my mind, so I pray.
When I don't know the situation, this is what I pray:
I tell God I don't know what is going on in their lives, but You do. (Or He wouldn't have put them on my mind.) Give them Your wisdom, insight, revelation knowledge, and understanding for whatever they are going through. Cause them to lean into You more. Let them know You are right there in the valley with them and that You love them. Let them feel Your comfort and peace in whatever they are going through. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
When God places someone on your mind, pray. You may not know why, but He does, and more importantly, He has trusted you with the assignment to intercede.
"FIRST OF all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men." (1 Timothy 2:1 AMPC)
No, I'm not back yet. I just thought this was too important not to take the time to share.
