Transitions are necessary but usually avoided at all costs. We're so comfortable with the familiar and find it hard to let go. Sometimes we even box God in believing that He will answer our prayers and move in our lives the same way He’s done it before.
I am learning through multiple unexpected transitions that God is still in control, He can be trusted, and most importantly, He is up to something in my life and in me.
My heart is fixed on Him with Great Expectations and anticipation for God to keep this promise:
"I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:10b-11 MSG)
In the meantime, I will continue to call on Him trusting this promise:
"When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” God’s Decree. “I’ll turn things around for you." (Jeremiah 29:12-14 MSG)
Be Encouraged! ❤
