Lord, let me not criticize, ridicule, or become angry when others criticize, ridicule, or express anger towards me. Let me respond with love even if, or when, I must do it from a distance.


Guarding my heart requires protecting it from the piercing, and careless, words and actions of others. While it may hurt, I will not respond in kind. Instead, I will respond in prayer. I'm responsible for my words and actions, not theirs.


I pray this encourages and blesses someone.
