Treasured by God!
Releasing some people and praying for them allows us to be unencumbered by their drama and dysfunction. This doesn't mean you don't care. It means you care about your well being and mental health, which is healthy. They may never own their part in it or their own dysfunction until they have an encounter with the Lord. In the meantime choose peace, freedom, and purpose.
Choose freedom in Christ over bondage in people. Sometimes we have to heal from the apology we never received and accept that it won't happen, while rejoicing that the blood of Jesus did its work in our lives.
Letting go is healthy. Once I accepted that and walked in it life became sweeter.
