NEED A WORD FROM GOD?!

"For the time is coming when they will no longer listen and respond to the healing words of truth because they will become selfish and proud. They will seek out teachers with soothing words that line up with their desires, saying just what they want to hear." (2 Timothy 4:3 TPT) You want a word from God? Get in the Word of God. That's where He speaks the loudest. If you don't know His voice you will fall for anything that tickles your itching ears! If you don't know His Word you will be led astray. Hosea was clear when God used him to say, "My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6) People are looking for the spectacular and God's speaking in a still small voice! Don't believe me, ask Elijah! “Go out and stand before me on the mountain,” the Lord told him. And as Elijah stood there, the Lord passed by, and a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. It was such a terrible blast that the rocks were torn loose, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. And a voice said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (1 Kings 19:11‭-‬13 NLT)

Get quiet. Open His Word. Invite Holy Spirit to speak and help you hear what God wants to say to you. Write it down. Think about it. Find more supporting, and encouraging, Scriptures to build your faith and strengthen your hope. Choose to trust God. Then put into practice what He has shown you to do. Praise Him. Water your seed continually with the Word and watch it grow.

Look with spiritual eyes, not physical eyes. What you see is not all that's going on.

"Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting." (2 Corinthians 4:18 AMPC)
