MOVING FORWARD!

“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 MSG)

Letting go of the past, of hurt, disappointment, and so much more can be challenging but it’s necessary. You can’t move forward looking backwards. Sometimes holding onto the past, looking back, means death and destruction, both literally and figuratively.

“But Lot’s wife looked back as she was following behind him, and she turned into a pillar of salt.” (Genesis 19:26 NLT)

Not letting go of the past and moving into the future God has for us is costly. For Lot’s wife it cost her life. For us it could cost us our destiny and our life. Not moving with God, where He is taking us, is costly. Let go of the past and step into your future.

“Sometimes we don’t recognize what’s happening to us, around us, and in us. God says, ‘Open your eyes and study your environment. What do you perceive?’ Do you perceive the new thing God is doing in your life?” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

I know I’m guilty of not always recognizing what’s happening around me and even in me and through me. I do need to study my environment so I can recognize God’s hand. I am so thankful Lord that You provide revelation so I can see what’s going on from a spiritual and natural perspective. Help me to quickly perceive the new things You are doing in my life, even in moment of discomfort.

“Here are kingdom revelations, words to live by, and words of wisdom given to empower you to reign in life. Within these sayings will be found the revelation of wisdom and the impartation of spiritual understanding. Use them as keys to unlock the treasures of true knowledge.” (Proverbs 1:1a-2 TPT)

Thank You Lord for the revelation of wisdom and the impartation of spiritual understanding, I will use them to unlock the treasures of true knowledge.

“Do you know your “Constant?” You must rely on the Unchangeable One in the midst of change to keep yourself stable and to keep your vision in focus during times of transition and upheaval.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

“We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection.” (Hebrews 12:2a TPT)

FAITH CONFESSION:

My eyes are on You Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. My attention and expectation are on You. I will not be moved by what is going on in the natural. I look to You for direction to navigate the transitions I face so I can remain vision focused. Transition and upheaval will not distract, disrupt, or derail my assignment and what You are doing in me and through my life. I choose to move forward. I realize that change has an assignment and will learn what it is teaching me and accept the growth taking place in me and through me.

Be Encouraged! ❤
