Treasured by God!
Making a shift in focus. Realigning my thoughts and looking at things from God's perspective I can have His peace that surpasses all understanding. That also means giving myself permission not to be consumed by all that's being said about the election, whether it's on TV or social media. Instead I'm basking in silence and peace that comes from trusting God to navigate what I cannot.
My eyes are on Him. Absolutely nothing happening right now is a surprise to Him or a concern for Him. I'm going to continue trusting God while absorbing His peace. My hope is in Him, not who is in the White House or Congress.
"Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies."
