LOVING THE CHANGING SEASONS OF LIFE!

“[Growing in grace] they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap [of spiritual vitality] and [rich in the] verdure [of trust, love, and contentment]. [They are living memorials] to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to His promises; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” (Psalm 92:14-15 AMPC)

Verdure – a condition of freshness (The Oxford Dictionary)

FAITH CONFESSION:

As I age Abba Father, let me grow in grace and continue being productive. Aging doesn’t mean quitting. As I continue in Your Word, Abba Father, I will continue to grow, bring forth fruit, and be full of spiritual vitality, rich in trust, love, and contentment.

Lord, may I be a living memorial to show You are upright and faithful to Your promises. You are, and have always been, my Rock. There is no unrighteousness in You and You can be depended on no matter what challenges I face.

“No one can ‘retire’ from change. When you stop changing, you’re through.”

“I suggest that the older you grow, the more change you should initiate because change will keep you alive. It will enable you to be a contributing member of the human family. You can’t wait for things to happen anymore. You have to make them happen.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I don’t want to retire from change or from living life fully, expectantly, and excitedly. Age isn’t going to stop me from continually seeking the Lord, or from growing spiritually, mentally, or emotionally, or from being creative. No matter my age I can still make things happen.

“Change is to life what oxygen is to the body. It keeps giving you new, internal energy.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I will continually embrace change as long as I am alive!

Yes!

I will EMBRACE CHANGE!

I will BE CHANGE!

I will INSPIRE CHANGE!

“History is a record of people and events that have changed human life in some way. Therefore, if you want to leave a mark on history and not become lost in the machinery of tradition, you must initiate or maximize change.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Lord, let me be someone that has changed human life in some meaningful way. Let me touch lives with the vision You have given me. Let me make a difference. I want to initiate change and maximize change created by others.

“We need to be proactive, progressive, and pro-responsive. In this way, we will become the designers of change and not the victims of change.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I am a designer of change. I am not, and will not become, the victim of change!
