Treasured by God!

What was more revealing to me is how easily I adapted to, and accepted, the drama and dysfunction they brought as normal, and how easily I allowed my boundaries to be breached. I've come to these conclusions through multiple abrupt, and planned, departures over the years.
Notice, I'm questioning me, my motives, and thought patterns, not the individuals involved or the circumstances. Each departure has taught me something about me, so that's what I focus on.
Some questions I now ask myself:
What was the lesson in this?
How can I grow from this?
How can I make better choices next time so I don't experience the same situations?
I use the challenge as an opportunity for God to grow me up spiritually and to unapologetically solidify my boundaries so they aren't easily breached next time.
I'm worth investing in! So are you? So ask yourself the hard questions and choose the growth path out of painful encounters.
