Kairos (καιρός) is an Ancient Greek word meaning the right, critical or opportune moment. In the New Testament, "Kairos" means "the appointed time in the purpose of God," the time when God acts. "Kairos" (used 86 times in the New Testament) refers to an opportune time, a "moment" or a "season" such as "harvest time." (Wikipedia)
“The least one shall become a thousand [a clan], and the small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its [appointed] time.” (Isaiah 60:22 AMPC)
God’s timing is perfect timing. No matter how long it takes know that He is preparing you for what He has prepared for you.
“You will rise up and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her—the appointed time has come.” (Psalm 102:13 HCSB)
Sometimes, shifts, transitions, and new seasons are painful. We must go through the process and experience labor pains in order to give birth. That baby, purpose, vision, is coming at its appointed, Kairos, time. We can either lean into the pain and breathe or fight it by struggling, staying stagnant. Whether we move or not, when that water breaks, we give birth.
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day." (Habakkuk 2:3 AMPC)
Walk in your God appointed, Kairos,
“I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time [appointed] for every matter and purpose and for every work.” (Ecclesiastes 3:17 AMPC)
When we trust God and His timing we can rest in this promise:
"So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose." (Romans 8:28 TPT)
FAITH CONFESSION:
Lord, I trust Your timing and I am convinced that every detail of my life is continually woven together for good. I love You, Lord. I know I have been called to fulfill Your designed purpose for me. Thank You that I serve a God of purpose who created me on purpose for purpose. Amen!
Be Encouraged! ❤
