The analogy I use all the time is, if we fell - do we stay where we fell? Of course not! We get up and continue where we were going. We may need to sit there for a moment, get perspective, and possibly get some help getting back up but we get back up! We don’t live where we fall! Well, the same is true in the spiritual realm. Life can knock us down but our loving Abba Father's Word, love, compassion, mercy, and grace, helps us to get back up and keep moving. We are children of the King, and we have a destiny and purpose for being here.
“But as for me, I will look to the Lord and confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope and expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O my enemy! When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.” (Micah 7:7-8 AMPC)
FAITH CONFESSION:
Lord thank You that we can begin again. Falling doesn't mean failure but another opportunity to try again with Your help. Thank You that no matter how much I fall, You are right there to help me up and cheer me on.
PRAYER:
Abba Father, my eyes are on You. I need You in every area of my life, and I welcome You there. You are my Compass, giving me direction and guiding me in Your ways, along Your appointed path for my life. I am confident that as You show me the way I will fulfill Your plans and purposes for my life. I have surrendered to You. Thank You that I am not alone. Thank You that You are right here with me, giving me Your guidance, strength, love, peace, and everything I need to be just who You called me to be and do what You have called me to do.
Thank You for our relationship. Because of this, and the promises in Your Word, I know that You hear me whenever I call. Of this I am very certain. Speak, Lord, Your servant is listening and willing to obey. My eyes are on You.
In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Let me speak these words of encouragement to you:
No matter what has happened to you, or you have allowed to happen to you based on choices you made - God can, and will, turn your situation around. All you have to do is allow Him to help you get up and start over.
It means surrender, your life, your will, your dreams, everything to Him, trusting that He has a good plan for your life. Let Him lead you: step by step, minute by minute, day by day, and you will walk in victory. This doesn't mean you won't have challenges. What it means is you won't face them alone. God will be right there with you giving you direction. He will order your steps.
"I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:10-11 MSG)
Be Encouraged! ❤
