“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (John 16:33 AMPC)
The Lord shared this with me during my quiet time a while ago and I believe it's time to share it again.
Hear the voice of the Lord saying to you:
My disciples were in a storm. They needed Me, yet, they did not recognize Me.
I am in your storms too. Do you recognize Me in them? Not always. Because, like the disciples, the storm skews your vision.
I walk on water to bring peace in the storm, to give you a different view, mindset, about what’s going on. You can’t focus on the storm. You have to look for Me in the storm. Yes, when everything is raging, I am the peace, the calm, in the storm. I am your navigation through the storm.
Don’t be distracted by the storm. Keep your eyes on Me, so you can see what I am doing in the storm. There is more going on than the storm itself. My child, don’t let the storm distract you from My purpose through the storm.
Look for Me, My purpose, in the storm. When you do that, the storm won’t destroy, it will build. It makes no sense to you, I know. My ways, my thoughts, are not your way or thoughts. Remember, I see the end from the beginning. I am in the end and in the beginning. I am where you are, and where you are going. While it’s uncharted, unknown territory to you, it’s chartered, by Me, known by Me. I will not leave you alone.
I am right there in the moment. In every moment, you will find Me. Just look for Me, especially in the storms, when you feel alone, abandoned even. I am there. Look past the darkness, to the light and you will see Me. I am not hidden. Keep your eyes on Me and I will navigate you to safety. You are not out of My reach, ever!
There is always a way out, a way through. Recognize Me in your storm and I will be your way out, your way through.
I am your storm preparedness. I am the key to the lesson in your storm.
