This meme is a powerful reminder of where God is in our challenges. Lord knows that's where I find myself right now. For real.
I'm thankful to be able to walk with Him while leaning on Him and sometimes being carried by Him.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.” (Isaiah 43:2 NASB)
Through – From beginning to end; To the end; to the ultimate purpose; To go through; To undergo; to sustain (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)
Some things I've learned about going "through" the Battle:
Keep your focus on Jesus and passing through whatever challenge you’re facing.
You’re not staying there – you’re passing through it.
It cannot drown you, overcome or overtake you – you’re passing through it.
The fire cannot scorch or burn you – you’re passing through it.
Keep your eyes unwaveringly on Jesus – no matter what – trust Him.
Keep building your faith in Him.
He is with you. You are not alone!
Always remember this as you go "through" the battle and face the challenge:
"You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah." (Psalm 32:7 NASB)
Selah - pause, and calmly think about that. (AMPC)
Sometimes we must pause and calmly think about what God's Word says and not what our circumstances are screaming at us. What we focus on is the direction we're going in. Make sure that direction is Jesus.
Here are some Scriptures to feast on to encourage you "through" the challenge:
"You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word." (Psalm 119:114 NASB)
"You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word." (Psalm 119:114 NASB)
"Be brave. Be strong. Don’t give up. Expect God to get here soon." (Psalm 31:24 MSG)
"Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone." (Psalm 33:22 NLT)
"As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever." (Psalm 125:2 NASB)
"You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head." (Psalm 139:5 NLT)
" Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” (Deuteronomy 31:6, 8 NASB)
