It really is about perspective. Sometimes, a lot of times - in certain circumstances, it's harder to have God's perspective. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9 AMPC) You have moments when the Word, as you know it, doesn't appear to be working in your life. Yet there's the precious promise in Romans 8:28 that keeps you anchored. “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” (Romans 8:28 AMPC) This faith walk requires determination and focus. If you lose either, you will stumble! “Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack—rooted, established, immovable].” (I Peter 5:8-9a AMPC) This faith walk was never meant to be done alone. I am thankful for the three-fold cord, that's not easily broken. “Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor; For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie down together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone? And though a man might prevail against him who is alone, two will withstand him. A threefold cord is not quickly broken." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 AMPC) Who are you walking with? Who are you accountable to? Who do you welcome correction from? Who is the iron sharpening iron in your life? While we must encourage ourselves in the Lord pur God, personal relationship, don't let the enemy isolate you. Make sure you're connected because two are better than one! #LeisaWilkins #EncouragementInTheWord Be Encouraged! ❤ www.leisawilkins.com

God will place someone in your life to keep you accountable. Not everyone has the power to speak into your life with honesty and truth.
