"God has transmitted his very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you." (2 Timothy 3:16-17 TPT)
When we leave our spiritual development soley to others we will never fully develop. God wants a personal, intimate, one-on-one, relationship with us, not a relationship through a surrogate!
The only intermediary we need is Jesus! Let that sink in and act accordingly. We must stop looking to people to give us what only God can give us! It's not there. He created the desire in us to desire Him. True satisfaction is found in Him.
"For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him." (Philippians 2:13 NLT)
Keep craving, desiring, more of God! That's an essential part of your growth plan!
"In the same way that nursing infants cry for milk, you must intensely crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s Word. For this “milk” will cause you to grow into maturity, fully nourished and strong for life — especially now that you have had a taste of the goodness of Yahweh and have experienced his kindness." (1 Peter 2:2-3 TPT)
Make it your hearts desire to be rooted deeply and firmly planted in Him! Grow in Him! Don't settle where you are! God has so much more for you!
"As you have therefore received Christ, [even] Jesus the Lord, [so] walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves) in union with and conformity to Him. Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving." (Colossians 2:6-7 AMPC)

Once we get a taste of the goodness of God we’re hooked. “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good!” Psalm 34:8
