Worth revisiting: When we’re tempted to think more or less of ourselves than we should, we are to think of how great God is and that we are made in His image. When we tend to feel bad about ourselves because of our human weaknesses, we must remember to see ourselves as God sees us because of the blood of Jesus. We must align ourselves with what the Word says about us and not what the world says about us. It’s easy when we fail to become critical, judgmental, or condemning of ourselves. Who we are in Christ will cleanse our sins when we’re quick to repent, and with the help of Holy Spirit to change our ways. God’s Word has provision for anything we face and anything we will do. He didn’t leave us to our own resources. He provided a way for grace, mercy, love, forgiveness, restoration, and so much more, to be applied to our lives. "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." (Ephesians 2:10 NLT) I am unique! I am strong! I am beautiful! Or I am handsome! You have blessed me with a unique plan and purpose! I am Your masterpiece! Abba Father, let me not forget who I am or my heritage as Your child. (See Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:14; Isaiah 43:4; Ephesians 1:7; II Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 1:4; I Corinthians 1:30; I Peter 2:9; Ephesians 2:10) My Prayer: Thank You Abba Father for creating me in Your image. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank You that I am honored and precious in Your sight. Hallelujah I am redeemed and forgiven! I am a new creature in Christ, the old has passed away. I’m not that person anymore. Before You I am holy and blameless. I am chosen by You. Even if no one else wants me or chooses me, You wanted me, planned for me, and chose me. I am Your masterpiece, a work of art, treasured beyond measure. Thank you for creating me with purpose to do great works for Your Kingdom. #LeisaWilkins #EncouragementInTheWord Be Encouraged! ❤ www.leisawilkins.com
