GOD, ME, AND TEA TIME!

Continual transition is in process in each of us, when we're in Christ. Everything God allows us to experience is about making us more like Him. He wastes nothing.

I don't have the details of the process, but God gives me each step I need to take right when I need to take it.

I do know:

Who:

God, my Abba Father, is in control and He is directing this. ("I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”) (Psalms 32:8‭-‬9 TPT)

What:

I must grow. I cannot remain the same. ("And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost and the bottles destroyed; but new wine is to be put in new (fresh) wineskins.")

(Mark 2:22 AMPC)

When:

Now! ("Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.") (Isaiah 43:19 AMPC)

Where:

In this moment, right where I am. ("My son, give me your heart and let your eyes observe and delight in my ways.") (Proverbs 23:26 AMPC)

Why:

I am not who I was, I belong to God! I can't stay the same! ("Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!") (2 Corinthians 5:17 AMPC)

How:

In the hands of the Potter, God! ("Then I went down to the potter's house, and behold, he was working at the wheel. And the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he made it over, reworking it into another vessel as it seemed good to the potter to make it.") (Jeremiah 18:3‭-‬4 AMPC)

My Response:

Surrend, submit, and be still in Him, while trusting Him. ("Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!") (Psalm 46:10 AMPC)

My Responsibility:

Remain in the Potters hands forever! ("O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does? says the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.") (Jeremiah 18:6 AMPC)

Trust the process!

"This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see." (Psalms 118:23 NLT)

We don’t get to call the shots. We’re just clay in the Master’s hands. I believe He knows what He’s doing.
