GIVE THANKS!

Updated: Dec 5, 2022

"Let joy be your continual feast. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus." (I Thessalonians 5:16-18 TPT)

“So lift your hands and thank God for his marvelous kindness and for all his miracles of mercy for those he loves.” (Psalm 107:8 TPT)

I give thanks for each of you for making Leisa Wilkins Ministries and Daily Encouraging Words by Leisa a wonderful place of encouragement, sharing, and caring. I pray that God will bless each of you abundantly.

I speak this blessing over each one of you and your families:

“The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).” (Numbers 6:24-26 AMPC)

I hope you all enjoy friends and family during this Thanksgiving time. Take a moment and share something you are thankful for with your friends and family.

Some Scriptures on being thankful:

“So let’s keep on giving our thanks to God, for he is so good! His constant, tender love lasts forever!” (Psalm 118:29 TPT)

"And in that day you will say, Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name and by means of His name [in solemn entreaty]; declare and make known His deeds among the peoples of the earth, proclaim that His name is exalted! Sing praises to the Lord, for He has done excellent things [gloriously]; let this be made known to all the earth." (Isaiah 12:4-5 AMPC)

"O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!" (1 Chronicles 16:34 AMPC)

"Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe; For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:28-29 AMPC)

"Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow! And let gentleness[a] be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ." (Philippians 4:4-7 TPT)

"Now thanks be to God for His Gift, [precious] beyond telling [His indescribable, inexpressible, free Gift]!" (2 Corinthians 9:15 AMPC)

I speak this additional blessing over each one of you and your families:

"Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, who called you to peace as part of his one body. And always be thankful. Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive praises and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts! Let every activity[d] of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you!" (Colossians 3:15-17 TPT)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM LEISA WILKINS MINISTRIES!
