FOCUSED!

Updated: Jul 10, 2022

"Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one." (Matthew 5:37 NLT)

It's really that simple. Yes or No. Remember, no is a complete sentence. When I explain my no, I invite people to provide ways to work around my no to change it to a yes. While yes benefits them it may be a distraction for me, potentially stopping my forward motion to walking in vision. I must stay true to my vision. If a yes distracts from vision, then my answer must be no.

"If you want to be successful, you must set priorities for yourself in relation to your vision." (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I must understand and value prioritizing in executing the steps to fulfilling vision. Without priorities I may make wrong, or less effective and timely, decisions. I must make priorities that allow me to be in sync with God's timing.

"Whatever we are doing now is our tomorrow." (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Every choice I make today impacts the quality of my life tomorrow. I must be intentional about what I am focusing on and what I am spending my time on.

I must be FOCUSED:

F = Faith

O = Overcoming

C = Challenges

U = Using

S = Scripture (for)

E = Eternal

D = Direction

"If you want to fulfill your dream, you must fix your eyes on it and not get caught up in anything that won't take you there." (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I am dream focused.

I am vision focused.

I am purpose focused.

I will ask this question before saying yes to things:

Is this choice moving me toward destiny or away from destiny?

Be Encouraged! ❤
