FOCUS!

FOCUS! Just say that every time you're asked to start something, be a part of something: FOCUS! Then ask yourself: Is necessary? Is it beneficial? Will it help me accomplish what God is calling me to do? Remember it can be a good thing but if it's not a God thing you don't need to be involved! Good things can become distractions from God things. Then distractions can become detours from God things. One of the best things you can do is to set boundaries so you're focused and not easily distracted! But the Lord said to her, “Martha, dear friend, you are so upset over all these details! There is really only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it—and I won’t take it away from her!” (Luke 10:41-42 TLB) Another thing you can do is, make sure you're focused on your relationship with the Lord. Once that's in place Holy Spirit will guide you on the right path for your life. "Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions. Watch where you’re going! Stick to the path of truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you." (Proverbs 4:25‭-‬26 TPT) I have a daily reminder on my calendar to remind me to stay focused on purpose, maybe it will encourage you and help keep you accountable to your purpose: "Leisa, don't lose sight of your purpose! Follow after destiny! Don't let anyone disqualify or distract you!" "Leisa, what are you doing today that brings you closer to purpose?" Today, what are you focused on?
