“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (John 16:33 AMPC)
Be still. Don't move. Storm time is not a time of movement. Where you were before the storm hit is where you need to be after the storm! Why? God is doing something in the storm not only in your life but in the lives of those around you in your sphere of influence.
How you handle the storm speaks volumes about your faith and trust in God. Storms are not comfortable. Our flesh may tell us to run but God's Word says:
"So stand still and see this great thing the Lord will do before your eyes now." (I Samuel 12:16 AMPC)
“Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again.” (Exodus 14:13 AMPC)
If we run from the storm, we will miss a great thing the Lord is about to do!
Ask yourself, which is stronger your faith or your fear?
Be Encouraged! ❤
