There is no time limit on grief. There's no specific day when it "gets better!" Truth is it never "gets better!" It just gets different.
They aren't here and that's a reality you live with every single day. Know this, God cares. He sees you. He loves you. He will comfort you. You are not alone.
For believers, we do know where they are, but we must deal with the emotions of where they are not - here.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows]." (Psalms 147:3 AMPC)
