COMMITMENT TO VISION AND PURPOSE!

Updated: Jun 29, 2022

I must know my purpose in life!

Questions to help me navigate walking with vision and purpose:

  • Am I doing what God has called me to do in the way He wants me to do it?

  • Is my passion obvious to others?

  • Do I shine with it?

  • How do I handle challenges, naysayers, or critics?

Paul is a great example of someone whose assignment came with challenges, life threatening challenges, yet he did not give up or question his assignment. He stayed steadfast committed to its completion no matter what he faced. (See 2 Corinthians 11:22-26)

This is my heart’s desire as I walkout the vision, the purpose, God has given me for my life:

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].” (I Corinthians 15:58 AMPC)

“He paid a price for the vision. But his passion enabled him to do it.” (Myles Munroe)

When vision is empowered by passion obstacles fade away. They are no longer the focus.

“You are passionate, and you are real if you stay steady under pressure. You know the vision is from God when you are still at it once the storm clears. It’s easy to get excited about a vision, but it’s harder to be faithful to it. Faithfulness to vision is one of the marks of its legitimacy.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

My passion and realness are reflected in being steady under pressure. I will continue through the storm and keep going after it, even when it appears that ground has been lost. I know, if You allowed the storm nothing will be lost that is needed to walk in vision. I will combine excitement and faithfulness to the vision knowing it’s a legitimate assignment from You, Abba Father. I will not quit no matter what.

Be Encouraged! ❤
