CHRONICLES FROM THE PORCH!

Treasured by God!

We are to be light and salt, not crowd pleasers or followers of those that don't know Jesus. Nor are we to seek their counsel.

Be careful who you connect with, follow, or seek advice from. If you don't you may find yourself going in the wrong direction. Just because it seems right doesn't mean it's right. Test the fruit before you decide to walk with, or follow, anyone. God's Word is clear on this:

"BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather." (Psalm 1:1 AMPC)

Pray, seek God's face and ask, is this where I need to be and is this what I need to be doing? God will never lead you down the wrong path.

"I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalms 32:8‭-‬9 TPT)

No matter what the world is doing we must stand firm and do what pleases the Lord. Sometimes that means you may walk alone. Be willing to do just that.

Then Peter and the apostles replied, "We must obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29 AMPC)

Let this be your prayer:

"Keep showing the humble your path, and lead them into the best decision. Bring revelation-light that trains them in the truth." (Psalms 25:9 TPT)
