Yes! Let the celebrations continue. It's my Birthday Month! I'm celebrating all month, yes every single day! It's been a quiet day. A day of reflection. Thinking about my mom and remembering her influence on my life. Just want to shout out about the influence of this phenomenal woman! I am who I am because of who she was! I'm so glad I can think for myself, am not easily led, and don't need validation, or permission, to do me! Mommy was big on my not following the crowd, to create my own path. She made it okay to walk alone and not compromise when I believed in something. Thank you, mommy, for raising an independent thinker and stressing the importance of not following the crowd. You taught me to make my own path and I'm thankful because I'm okay with being the odd one out, if necessary. I'm running my own race the way God has laid it out for me. It may not look like anyone else's, and that's okay. Let's just run our races to the glory of God without causing one another to stumble! I want to be a part of seeing and helping others to succeed. One thing you can count on, if I can't help you, I won't be a stumbling block for you. Today's blessings were a lunch invitation and a donation to my ministry on the tangible side. On the spiritual side peace, a sense of knowing I'm right where I need to be while doing what I'm called to do. That's priceless! Another blessing was the repair of a relationship and a phone call from a cousin I haven't spoken to in a while. It's been a good day! Now I'm off to get ready for my water aerobics class!
