A FRESH START!

Updated: Feb 10, 2022

“But now take another look. I’m going to give this city a thorough renovation, working a true healing inside and out. I’m going to show them life whole, life brimming with blessings. I’ll restore everything that was lost to Judah and Jerusalem. I’ll build everything back as good as new. I’ll scrub them clean from the dirt they’ve done against me. I’ll forgive everything they’ve done wrong, forgive all their rebellions. And Jerusalem will be a center of joy and praise and glory for all the countries on earth. They’ll get reports on all the good I’m doing for her. They’ll be in awe of the blessings I am pouring on her.” (Jeremiah 33:6-9 MSG)

You can substitute your name where it says, CITY, JUDAH, & JERSUSALEM, to hear God speaking directly to you. Personalizing Scripture speaks to my heart. Try it with any Scripture and feel the impact of God's Word in a different, more powerful way.

PRAYER:

Lord renovate me working a true healing inside and out. I don't want to remain the same. I desire life whole, a life brimming with Your blessings. Thank You for restoration of everything that was lost or stolen, and things I mishandled, in my life. Build me back in Your image, with Your character and mind.

Scrub me clean from the dirt I've done against You. Forgive me and my rebellion against You Abba Father, I am not that person anymore. I'm new in You. Make me the center of Your joy and praise and glory for all countries on earth. Enlarge my territory for You. Let good reports follow me of the good I do in Your Name and for Your glory. Let Your blessing flow so people will know You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Pray God’s Word back to Him. Why? Because God watches over His Word to perform it and His Word will not return to Him void. His Word must produce.

Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12 AMPC)

So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11 AMPC)

Let this be your heart’s desire:

God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life. (Psalm 51:10 MSG)
