A CALL TO PRAY!

Updated: Apr 11, 2022

"If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." (II Chronicles 7:14 AMPC)

Yes, one prayer, combined with faith, based on the Word of God can make a difference. So just imagine what can happen if we all stopped and prayed for our nation when we read this post!

"The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]." (James 5:16 AMPC)

Because your prayers make a difference, would you please take a moment and pray for our nation?

Instead of talking about what’s wrong let’s pray and trust God to heal our land. The Word of God tells us to call those things that be not as though they were, and it also tells us the power of our words. Let’s align our words with the Word of God and not what we see or feel. Let’s trust God by speaking life instead of hate and death.

This is not a political post. Regardless of how we may feel about whoever is in office, believers are called to pray for those in authority. It wasn’t a suggestion.

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” I Timothy 2:1-4 NLT)

Take a moment and ask God to bless America and those that lead America. Pray that those in authority will remember why they are there and who they are there for. Ask Him to expose the lies and those that are trying to destroy our nation. In other words, bring all your concerns to Him. Only He can change hearts. Continually talking about the problems won’t change the problems and will only lead to frustration!

Let’s speak life over our nation and over the people that lead it. Let’s speak life to ourselves so we can live in our victory despite what things look like.

“Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.” (Proverbs 18:21 MSG)

Let’s do what Romans 4:17 says and call those things that be not as though they were.

Speak life!

Expect life!

Pray!

Be Encouraged! ❤
