Chosen by God!
He said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a little while”—for there were many [people who were continually] coming and going, and they could not even find time to eat. (Mark 6:31 AMPC)
We can, and should, model Jesus.
He leads, and led while on earth, by example. If the Son of God, took time alone to pray, spent time with His Father, spoke the Word, sought direction and strength, went to church - why aren't we? Disciples model Christ in every area.
“If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you.” (John 15:18 AMPC)
He suffered ridicule, slander, death and so much more. So will we. Here's the good news, He defeated death, rose again, lives - and so will we!
Following Jesus, for real, a lifestyle, has its privileges!
