Chosen by God!

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2 NKJV)

What am I looking at? Am I looking at my circumstances or at God? What I focus on determines what I believe and impacts the outcome.

“Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.” (II Corinthians 4:18 Amplified)

Faith Confession:

I will keep my eyes focused on my Abba, Father, because how things look isn't necessarily truth. I cannot allow myself to be led by my emotions. I must be Spirit of God fed to walk in victory.

Lord, help me to keep my eyes on eternity so that I make decisions based on eternity and not on what is temporary. I can’t take material things with me but I can take people, and people matter to You.

It's not always easy, sometimes it's really hard and even painful, but God has promised victory when I align myself with Him. It's a matter of pressing, pressing forward while pressing into Him. I must remain anchored in Him.

"For we walk by faith, not by sight." (II Corinthians 5:7 NKJV)

(The Lord reminded me that my present circumstances are not a barometer of what He is doing, and going to do, in my life! So I have to take my eyes off what I see and how I feel. I have to refocus on what He promised and stand in faith until I walk in it!)
