Chosen by God!

“I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.” (Psalms 35:18 NKJV)

“In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” (I Thessalonians 5:18 AMP)

The very things we take for granted others would love to have. Sometimes we forget how blessed we are because we're so focused on what we don't have. This is how the enemy works. He wants us distracted, dissatisfied, discouraged, and ungrateful so he can destroy us and anything God wants to do through us.

We must remember to have a grateful, thankful, heart. When we're willing to do for others, what they cannot do for themselves, we reflect the character of Jesus. This is exactly what Jesus did for us! He was the perfect sacrifice, doing for us, what we could not do for ourselves - redeeming us!

Take a moment today, and the upcoming days, and ask the Lord to show you how you can be a blessing to someone else. Let it cost you something. Then give thanks.

“Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence.” (Psalms 140:13 NKJV)
